How you can decorate your RV for the holidays

Holiday decorations for your RV

Okay, December is officially here and we are SUPER excited. There is just something magical about this time of the year, the beautiful white overlay of snow, the beautiful lights on the neighbourhood houses, the cheerfulness of people and the getting together with friends and family.

One of my favorite things about December is finding the perfect tree and decorating the holidays. The fresh smell of spruce, baked goods, and the sound of the fire crackling might be some of the best things I look forward too.

If you're a full timer or plan on travelling in an RV over the holidays, you can still participate in the holiday cheer. Check out some of these festive holiday RVers and how they decorated their RV for the occasion.

outdoor lights for your trailer

1.) Add Multi-colored lights to your travel trailer

There is something very special about multi-colored lights and the glow they give, especially on this tiny travel trailer.

Christmas Tree In RV

2.) Add a skinny Christmas Tree

Fitting a full sized christmas tree might be hard as your RV is traditonally smaller than a house, so if you are looking to add a tree to your RV, keep an eye out for a skinny tree, they are perfect for sitting in a corner.

Menorah for RV

3.) Add a Menorah if you Celebrate Hannukah

If you celebrate Hannukah, then adding a Menorah somewhere in the RV is a great and easy way to keep the holiday alive while on your roadtrip.

Garland on RV slideout

4.) Add Garland to your slideout

If you want to skip the tree but still want to decorate, adding some lights and garland to your trailer or motorhome's slideout is a perfect way to keep the holiday spirit going while on the road.

 RV Ornament

5.) Get some RV inspired ornaments

How cute! If you love your RV as much as we think you do, then finding some adorable rv inspired ornaments are a must for your christmas tree or heck keep them out all year long — they're awesome!

6.) Add a wreath, popup decorations to the outside of your RV

If you are going to be stationary over christmas at a campground or staying with a family, you can spruce up your RV by adding a wreath and some outdoor pop-up decorations.
